“Extremely professional, knowledgable and expert team of lawyers and operational staff.

Me and my family have personally dealt with Hoda Shafizadeh for last 6 years and it has been an absolute pleasure…

This time around Hoda helped me in a property settlement where the mortgagee was the bank and i was almost losing out on a deal yet she emailed the vendors solicitor to have my offer reconsidered.

We got the deal just because of her efforts.”

“I had a business matter in court for my company, and as a business owner, I was looking for someone who would truly care about my case and spend time on it. I was lucky to find Hoda, as she really looked after my matter in court and finalised it in the best way. I hope I never have to go to court again, but if I ever need a solicitor, I will definitely choose her.”

Success stories

Three matters, told plainly. Names and identifying details left out.

Visitor Visa Refusal Overturned Without a Tribunal Appeal

Our client’s father had his visitor visa refused after the Department claimed insufficient financial evidence had been provided. Although the usual next step was a costly Tribunal appeal, we were confident the evidence had been overlooked.

We persistently pursued the Department, clearly identified the evidence already submitted and requested that the decision be reconsidered. The Department ultimately reassessed the application and granted the visa, saving our client the time, stress and expense of an appeal.

Domestic Violence Charges Withdrawn Before Hearing

Our client was charged with domestic violence offences following allegations they strongly denied. The charges placed their reputation, employment and relationship with their children at serious risk.

We carefully examined the evidence, obtained messages and other material that contradicted key parts of the allegations, and prepared detailed representations to police identifying the weaknesses in the prosecution case.

After reviewing our representations and the supporting evidence, police agreed to withdraw the charges before the matter proceeded to hearing. Our client was able to move forward without the stress, cost and uncertainty of a contested criminal trial.

Business Owner Vindicated After Identity Misuse

A business owner came to us after authorities alleged that he was responsible for a serious regulatory breach involving an international shipment. His business name and ABN had been used without his knowledge, exposing him to significant financial, legal and reputational consequences.

We obtained witness evidence, recordings and supporting documents, and pursued the matter with the relevant government agencies. The evidence ultimately satisfied the Court that our client’s ABN had been used fraudulently, establishing that he had been wrongly linked to the conduct.

Every case is different. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
